Trent Jacobs, Berthoud baseball: The Spartans senior had half of his team’s hits while reaching base four times in Berthoud’s loss to Loveland on Saturday at Owens Field.

Jacobs had three hits and was hit by a pitch in the contest. On the mound, he held the Red Wolves at bay for a couple of innings while striking out three in three innings.
