Big Thompson River Cleanup: 1-5 p.m. Wednesday, Fairgrounds Park, 700 S. Railroad Ave., Loveland. A group cleanup of open spaces and parks along the Big Thompson River through Loveland to support the health of the river. Begins at Fairgrounds Park and teams will travel up and down the river corridor removing litter. Wear closed-toe shoes, long pants and dress in layers for the weather. Bring a full water bottle, sun protection and work gloves (we’ll have extras, too). Meet at the south pavilion for project details, safety talk and materials. All tools and supplies will be provided.
