After a year’s hiatus due to budget reductions, live music is returning to Loveland’s Foote Lagoon this summer.
The Rialto Theater has announced the return of its free Summer Concert Series, with four shows scheduled for Thursdays in July. All shows begin at 7 p.m. at 500 E. Third St., and are weather permitting.
The opening night on July 9 will feature Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, a Motown and Stax tribute revue led by Dzirae Gold, performing hits popularized by artists such as The Supremes, Marvin Gaye and The Temptations.
On July 16, Amanda V’s Material Girl will bring a high-energy Madonna tribute show with a full band and costumed dancers.
The following week, July 23, The Spicy Pickles featuring Hannah Rodriguez will blend swing, funk, soul and pop, drawing inspiration from legends like Count Basie and James Brown.
The series wraps up July 30 with HomeSlice Band, a nine-piece cover group known for its horn-driven sound and dance-heavy sets.
Along with live music, attendees can once again expect a beer garden and food trucks. Parks and Recreation staff are also planning to set up lawn games — including oversized favorites like Jenga and Connect Four — in the area between the amphitheater and the Chilson Recreation Center.
“Our goal, as always, is to have a fun time for her whole family,” said Rialto Theater manager Joe Patti.
Seating is first-come, first-served, and parking is available in the Civic Center municipal lot as well as nearby lots at the Loveland Public Library, Chilson Recreation Center and Foundry Plaza.
The concert series is funded through the city’s general fund, which supports core services and community programming. It was among the offerings paused in 2025 as the city made cuts to balance the budget.
