‘Inside NCAR’

A talk on “Inside NSF NCAR’s Science, Stories, and Breakthroughs” will be presented at 1-3 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Loveland Museum, 503 N. Lincoln Ave.

The program will be presented by the U.S. National Science Foundation National Center for Atmospheric Research.

For over 60 years, the U.S. National Science Foundation National Center for Atmospheric Research (NSF NCAR) has been at the forefront of Earth system science, providing cutting-edge resources including supercomputers, research aircraft, advanced computer models, and extensive datasets. Join NSF NCAR staff to learn about this remarkable six-decade journey and how NSF NCAR research is addressing our most pressing scientific challenges, protecting lives, and strengthening our national security.

NoCo Fishing Expo

The NoCo Fishing Expo 2026 will be held at 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Pedersen Toyota Center at The Ranch, 5280 Arena Circle.

Sponsored by the Rocky Mountain Flycasters chapter of Trout Unlimited, the event will feature exhibitors, fly tyers and tying demonstrations, guest speakers, silent and live auctions, educational displays and games for kids.

Adult tickets are $10 in advance or $20 on the day of the event. Families are $20 in advance or $30 on the day of the event. Teens, students, veterans, and first responders are $5 in advance or $10 on the day of the event, and age 12 and under are free.

Parking also is free.

TAAP 2D Reception

A TAAP 2D Reception will be held at 5-6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Loveland Public Library, 300 N. Adams Ave.

Join an evening of art and poetry as the city of Loveland Art in Public Places Program, Loveland Public Library, and Loveland Poet Laureate Committee celebrate the 2026 TAAP 2D exhibit. The Art Advocacy Project (TAAP) 2D pairs 2D art with the work of Colorado poets which will be displayed for 2026-27 in the Loveland Public Library.

Cornhole

Cornhole for a Cause to support veterans will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at Crooked Beech Brewing Company, 3121 N. Garfield Ave.

The event combines a tournament, a gathering of community and support for those who have served our nation.

Funds raised will go to Veteran Buddy System, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Artworks Sip + Shop

Artworks Center for Contemporary Art will launch a Third Saturday Sip + Shop at 4-6 p.m. Saturday, March 21.

The featured artist for March, Tracie Jenkins, uses mixed media, including local newspaper clippings and photography, to commemorate the passing of the 19th Amendment. Her work aims to honor the women who began the fight for equality more than 100 years ago.

Also at the Artworks Center this month, the Thompson Valley High School AP Studio student art show will be in Gallery 26 through April 26.

The Artworks Center is located at 310 N. Railroad Ave., and open at 2-6 p.m. Fridays and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, or by appointment.

Fundraiser for VIPink

A Fundraiser for VIPink will take place at 2-6 p.m. Sunday, March 29, at The Hub, 6402 Union Creek Drive.

The event will honor the memory of Debbie Brohard, with a fundraiser benefiting VIPink and Susan G. Komen, with 25% of the event’s profits donated directly to support the fight against breast cancer.

The event will feature live music, cornhole and great company.

Mattress Sale

The Mountain View High School Music Program will hold its annual Mattress Fundraiser at 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, March 29, at the school, 3500 Mountain Lion Drive.

Brands will include Purple, Helix, Simmons Beautyrest, Therapedic, Innomax, American Sleep and Tranquility, with over 30 mattress models to choose from, available in every mattress size.

All mattresses are going to be made to order after the fundraiser and will ship from the factory and will carry the standard factory warranties which are typically 10 years or longer.

They will be delivered about three to five weeks after the fundraiser.

JOHNSTOWN

Easter Bunny Meeting

An Easter celebration and chance to meet the Easter Bunny in person will be offered at 5-8 p.m. Saturday, March 28, noon-3 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 3, and noon-3 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at Scheels, 4755 Ronald Reagan Blvd.

Capture the magic with photos.

The free event is on the second floor. No registration is required and all ages welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Easter Bunny Event

Families can visit with the Easter Bunny at noon-3 p.m. Sunday, March 29, at the Johnstown Activity Center, 10 S. Parish Ave.

The Easter celebration will include pictures with the Easter Bunny, goodie bags for kids, activities, snacks and drinks.

Fly Fishing Films

The Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a show at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Lincoln Center, 417 W. Magnolia.

The tour will present a fresh collection of fly fishing films from across the globe.

5K Color Run

An International 5K Color Run will take place at 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, March 28, at Laurel Hall at Colorado State University, 700 Oval Drive.

The annual fun run/walk is held in partnership with CSU’s Indian Students Association to coincide with the annual Hindu celebration of Holi, which honors colors, love, and spring.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the international enrollment scholarship funds to help students achieve their goal of studying at Colorado State University.

Participants will receive a race T-shirt, color to join in on the festivities and race-friendly snacks and beverages.

Cost is $30 for adults and $15 for ages 12 and under.

Pinwheel Gala

The 29th annual Pinwheel Gala will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at Hilton Fort Collins, 425 W. Prospect Road.

John Williams Music

The Greeley Philharmonic will present “A Night with John Williams” at 7-9 p.m. Saturday. March 28, at the University of Northern Colorado Campus Commons, 1051 22nd St.

Frozen Dead Guy Days
