LOVELAND

Those Crazy Nights

Those Crazy Nights will be in concert at 7 p.m. Friday, March 27, at the Rialto Theater Center, 228 E. Fourth St.

The band is a tribute to Journey.

Bunco Party

The Mountain View Presbyterian Church Fellowship Committee will hold a Bunco Party at 1-3 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at the church, 2500 N. Garfield Ave., Loveland.

Park in the north parking lot and enter at the statue of the teacher reading to the children.

The entry fee is a nonperishable food item for the House of Neighborly Service.

All are invited, whether they know how to play or not. It is a very easy game to learn and a great way to visit with friends and meet new people.

Light snacks, water, and iced tea will be served.

Irish Poker Run

Thunder Mountain Harley-Davidson, 4250 Byrd Drive, will hold an Irish Poker Run at 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, March 21.

Cost is $20 per hand and $10 for additional hands.

Participants can ride at their own pace. The last card will be drawn by 3 p.m. and prizes awarded at 4 p.m.

The event also will include a party with aDJ spinning tunes, on-site tattoos, beer and an in-store scavenger hunt.

Mornings at McKee

The Mornings at McKee senior series will take place at 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 26, at Northern Colorado Medical Center: Loveland Campus, formerly known as McKee Medical Center, 2000 N. Boise Ave.

Dr. Ivy Andersen, a neurologist and sleep medicine specialist with nearly 20 years of experience, will share insights on comprehensive approaches to sleep disorders. She has a special focus on neurostimulation (Inspire therapy) for obstructive sleep apnea and will discuss how treating sleep disorders can improve quality of life and support overall health.

FORT COLLINS

‘Salt, Sand and Story’

The Fort Collins Circus Center will present “Salt, Sand and Story: Tales of Oceania” at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, March 25-26, at the Lincoln Center, 417 W. Magnolia.

The  performance invites audiences on an immersive journey through the mythologies, elemental forces and oceanic spirit of the Oceania region.  Through aerial silks, acro yoga, dance and storytelling, students ages 5 through adults will bring ancient legends and imagined worlds to life.

Rams Talk

The Ram Talk Series at Colorado State University will focus on “Death by Chocolate” at 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, at Fort Collins Welcome Center, 7 Old Town Square Suite 100.

Caitlin Clark, senior food scientist at the CSU Spur Food Innovation Center, will give a lighthearted — and tasty — discussion about the health benefits commonly associated with chocolate as well as some of the risks that have recently come to light, such as heavy metal content.

Discover how much chocolate is too much, what health benefits it offers, and explore the chocolate-making process with a special focus on artisanal practices. Dr. Clark will conclude with a discussion on why choosing quality chocolate matters for both your health and the planet.

Colorado Water Center

The Colorado Water Center at Colorado State University will celebrate 60 years of water education, research and outreach with two events March 26 at the Lory Student Center, 1101 Center Ave. Mall.

Some of the West’s top water experts will join the festivities, which will include a free reception, a film screening and a fundraiser for the Colorado Water Center and the CSU Water Resources Archive.

A reception at 4-6 p.m. will feature a short film about the center’s work and impact and remarks from CSU President Amy Parsons, Colorado Water Center Director Karen Schlatter and Office of Engagement and Extension Vice President James Pritchett. All are welcome and encouraged to RSVP. The reception is free.

Following the reception, the Water Tables Fundraiser at 6-8 p.m. will give people the opportunity to dine with top water experts, including public officials and water managers, who will serve as table hosts for a ticketed, plated dinner. Proceeds will support the Colorado Water Center and the Water Resources Archive.

Fundraiser tickets are $175.

The Colorado Water Center is one of 54 nationwide institutes designated by the Water Resources Research Act. It works to foster dialogue, advance collaboration and catalyze interdisciplinary solutions for real-world water issues at CSU, across Colorado and beyond.

WINDSOR

‘Wonderful Time’

Windsor Community Playhouse will stage “Having a Wonderful Time, Wish You Were Her”  on March 27-April 12.

Performances are at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays. There will not be a matinee on Sunday, April 5, but will be one Saturday, April 4

The wild bedroom farce involves infidelity, double standards, midnight rendezvous and a hungry bear.

Tickets are $11.20 for opening night, and otherwise are $23.44.

Homeschool Art Show

A Homeschool Art Show will be held March 27-April 5 at the Art & Heritage Center, 116 Fifth St.

The first-time show will feature artwork from grade school aged students from Windsor and the surrounding area.

An opening reception will be held at 4-7 p.m. Friday, March 27.

The center is open at noon-4 p.m. Fridays through Sundays.

Eggstravaganza

Windsor’s annual Easter Eggstravaganza will take place at 10:15 a.m. Friday, March 27, at the Community Recreation Center, 2150 N. 11th St.

Join the Easter Bunny for festive fun, including egg hunts in the pool and gym, a scavenger hunt, games and open gym activities. Bring your basket and swimsuit.

MILLIKEN

Adult Egg Hunt

The Hop Till You Drop Adult Egg Hunt will take place at 7-9 p.m. Friday, March 27, at the Mad Russian Event Center, 2100 Country Club Parkway.

Thompson Rivers Parks and Recreation District organizers will provide the flashlights, and participants bring their own Easter baskets for the friendly competition.

Admission is $25, and includes a fast-paced egg hunt, a bar with tasty snacks and one free drink included, fun photo opportunities, music, dancing and egg-cellent prizes for the top hunters.

The event is for ages 21-plus only.
