LOVELAND

Museum Free Days

The Loveland Museum, 503 N. Lincoln Ave., will offer free admission days in March on Saturday, March 14, and Thursday, March 26.

Admission also is free at 5-8 p.m. on the second Friday of each month during Night on the Town.

Museum hours are 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Museum admission is $7 for Loveland residents and $10 for non-residents. Children 12 and under are free and must be accompanied by someone age 16 or older.

IPA Fest

The  fourth annual Spring IPA Fest will take place at 1-5 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at Loveland Aleworks, 118 W. Fourth St.

Enjoy a selection of specialty small-batch IPA varieties (available only during the festival) and live music by Square Peg at 2-4 p.m.

Admission is free and beers are available for purchase for ages 21-plus. Punchcards are $25-$40, available online in advance or at the taproom on the day of the event.

Vertical Fusion

A Vertical Fusion Studios Showcase can be seen at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at the Rialto Theater Center, 228 E. Fourth St.

The show is for ages 18-plus.

Lovespace Showcase

A Lovespace Showcase will be held at 4-6 p.m. Sunday, March 15, at Artspace Loveland, 140 W. Third St.

The event will feature three songwriters, John Bunzli, Joe Black and Elva Jones, in the round, unplugged, in the art gallery.

A $20 donation is suggested.

Lunch Lab

The Lunch Lab food truck for kids will provide free meals during spring break Monday-Friday, March 16-20, in both Loveland and Fort Collins.

In Loveland, meals will be served at 11-11:45 a.m. Monday-Friday at the Loveland Public Library, 300 N. Adams Ave.

In Fort Collins meal service will be at 12:15-1 p.m. Monday-Friday at the Old Town Library, 201 Peterson St.

The Lunch Lab provides no-cost meals for all youths 18 and under. There is no ID or registration required to receive a lunch.

Pet Gear Swap

The Pet Spring Swap will take place at 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at Loveland Tap & Tavern, 239 E. Fourth St.

Bring gently used pet clothing and accessories to exchange with other pet owners.

A majority of items left over will be donated to the NOCO Humane Society, and there also will be an opportunity to raise funds for the organization.

Expired food/treats, sheets, comforters, and pillows or bedding with padding, people clothing, medications and fleece blankets will not be accepted.

Seed Swap

A Seed Swap will be held at 1-5 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at Verdant Nature Creations, 4113 W. Eisenhower Blvd.

Bring labeled seeds to share and take seeds you need, and learn about Verdant’s community garden and garden rental space.

Nature Walk

Loveland Open Lands and Trails will hold its first guided walk of the season at 1-2:15 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at River’s Edge Natural Area, 960 W. First St.

An interpretive naturalist guide will introduce participants to local natural areas you can enjoy for free.

The program will include an informational walk through River’s Edge, pointing out native plants and signs of wildlife to highlight the biodiversity present. Prime fishing and birding locations will also be shared, and there will time for questions along the way.

Prepare for the weather (appropriate clothing, sun protection, good walking shoes, and water). Park in the main River’s Edge parking lot via the entrance nearest the river bridge. Meet at the picnic shelters east of the parking lot, by the green Open Lands flag.

BERTHOUD

St. Patty’s Day Run

A St. Patty’s Day Run will take place at noon Saturday, March 14, starting at the Berthoud Recreation Center at Waggener Farm Park, 1000 Berthoud Parkway.

The festive run proceeds through town and ends in Berthoud’s downtown.

Cost is $30 for adults and $15 for ages 17 and under.

FORT COLLINS

St. Pat’s Day Parade

The Fort Collins St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Old Town Irish Celebration will take place at 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, March 14.

The parade begins at College Avenue and Mountain Avenue, and travels through Old Town on Magnolia and Remington streets.

From 10 a.m. to noon, colorful floats, local nonprofits, businesses, clubs and community groups will march together in a lively display of Irish spirit and hometown pride.

After the parade, the celebration continues in Old Town Square from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with live music, food vendors, family activities, a festive bar scavenger hunt and more.

The Old Town Irish Celebration is open to all ages and goes beyond entertainment by supporting local children’s charities in Larimer and Weld counties.

Sharin’ O’ The Green

The annual Sharin’ o’ the Green 5K run/walk and Kids’ Fun Run will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 14, at Washington Park, 301 Maple St.

Pushrim/wheelchair entrants will start at 8:50 a.m.

Participants make their way through downtown Fort Collins before finishing at Odell Brewing Company, where the real celebration begins, with a beer garden, food and drinks, live music, awards, vendors and giveaways.

Women’s Day Gala

An Extra-Ordinary Women’s Day Gala will be held at 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, March 8, at the Lincoln Center, 417 W. Magnolia St.

The event will celebrate community-nominated women for being themselves, lifting others and doing normal but hard things.

Keynote speaker Chrysta Bairre, founder of She Goes High, career coach, and author of “Beautiful Badass,” will share an uplifting message to remind those attending of their extraordinary potential.

Cost is $25 and includes lunch.

Cheyenne Jackson

LC Live will present Cheyenne Jackson on The Mid Life Tour at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 15, at the Lincoln Center, 417 W. Magnolia.

Lucky Brew Race

The Lucky Brew Race 5K, 10K and 15K St. Patrick’s Day Run will take place at 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, March 14, at Eastman Park, 7025 Eastman Park Drive.

Choose your distance and enjoy a scenic run.

All participants will receive chip timing, photos, Lucky Brew Socks and an after party, complete with beverages, food and awards ceremony for top finishers.

The race starts and ends at Eastman Park.

St. Paddy’s Festival

A St. Paddy’s Festival will be held at 1-4 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at Centennial Park, 3815 Harrison Ave.

The Commoners will provide live music at 1:30-3:30 p.m., and McTeggart Irish dancers will perform at 3:30-4 p.m.

The community-focused festival features Irish- and Scottish-themed interactive activities and experiences, children’s activities, inflatable games, a photo booth and vendors.

Admission is free.

GREELEY

‘Blarney on the Block’

The “Blarney on the Block” St. Patrick’s Day celebration will be held at 2-6 p.m. Saturday,

March 14, on downtown Greeley’s Ninth Street Plaza.

The event will feature Irish dancers, bagpipers, live entertainment and festive activities for all ages. Attendees can enjoy green beer, family-friendly games and plenty of opportunities to celebrate Irish pride.

Those who want to decorate bikes, strollers and wagons and participate in the parade can line up by 2:10 p.m. on the east side of the DoubleTree Hotel. The parade will start on Ninth Avenue between Sixth and Seventh streets, and will travel down Eighth and Ninth streets.

The lineup includes:

• 2 p.m.: McTeggart Irish Dancers on Ninth Street Plaza.

• 2:30 p.m.: Parade on Eighth and Ninth streets.

• 3-3:15 p.m.: Pie Eating Contest.

• 3-3:30 p.m: Northern Colorado Caledonia Pipe Band at various locations on Ninth Street.

• 4-6 p.m.: Irish pub band Potcheen on the Ninth Street Plaza Stage.
