Film Showcase and Fundraiser: 6-8 p.m., Rialto Theater Center, 228 E. Fourth St., Loveland. “Gold Rush in Leadville” Exhibit Opens: 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Loveland Museum, 503 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland, in the Dunning Gallery. The prints capture both the myth and the reality of Leadville’s mid-1800s gold-rush beginnings.  970-962-2410, thelovelandmuseum.org.

“Stories that Linger in the Dust” Artist Talk: 1-3 p.m., Loveland Museum, 503 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland. Sharon Carlisle will discuss her exhibit that focuses on the development of atomic weapons from World War II to the Cold War and how it became part of pop culture.
