Loveland weather for Wednesday: More snow

A May snowstorm started Tuesday and is expected to continue until at least noon Wednesday.

The Thompson School District canceled school both days, and also delayed Wednesday’s school board meeting to next week.

The National Weather Service forecast says snow likely before noon with the high temperature reaching 41 degrees in Loveland. The day is expected to be windy with gusts up to 18 mph.

The overnight low, according to the NWS website, could dop to 26 degrees.

The sunshine is expected to return with respective highs of 67 on Thursday, 70 on Friday and 76 on Saturday.

On Mother’s Day, the forecast is for sunshine and a high near 71 degrees.
