ABBA Euphoria

ABBA Euphoria, a tribute to ABBA, will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at the Rialto Theater Center, 228 E. Fourth St.

Abba Euphoria is a high-energy, interactive concert experience for all ages that celebrates the timeless music of ABBA with its choreography, vocals, and a full-length multimedia backdrop.

Sing along to ABBA’s greatest hits, Including “Dancing Queen,” “Mamma Mia,” “The Winner Takes It All,” “Waterloo” and “SOS.”

M5 – Mexican Brass

Loveland Performing Arts will present M5 – Mexican Brass at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 10, at Roberta Price Auditorium at Thompson Valley High School, 1669 Eagle Drive.

The group is celebrating its 25th year of entertaining audiences all over the world. They play a mix of jazz, opera and pop.

The lineup for next season’s shows will be announced at the show and season tickets will go on sale.

Tickets for the May 10 show are $5 for children and $25 for adults, plus fees.

Mother’s Day Concert

Face Vocal Band will present a Mother’s Day Concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 10, at the Rialto Theater Center, 228 E. Fourth St.

The group will offer music, fun and all things mom.

Mother’s Day Exhibit

Celebrate Mother’s Day with the opening of a Mother’s Day Exhibition featuring work from over 15 Colorado artists exploring themes of motherhood, memory and connection at 6-9 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at Sparrow Art Center, 3780 N. Garfield Ave., Suite 201.

The curated show pairs visual artwork with personal written reflections, offering an intimate look at the many ways artists interpret and honor their relationships to mother figures.

Most artwork will be 11 by 14 inches or smaller, and priced for gift giving.

Norwegian Celebration

Join the Northern Colorado Sons of Norway celebrating Norwegian Constitution Day at 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, May 9, at Zion Lutheran Church, 815 E. 16th St.

In Norway, the day marked by families coming together, marching band parades, children parading under their school banner, people wearing their colorful traditional bunads, lots of hot dogs (Polse), and as much ice-cream as one can eat.

The event is open to anyone with a love of Nordic culture.

Single Mothers’ Day

WinGs Ministries will hold a Single Mothers’ Day Gathering at 11 a.m-1 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at the Community Life Center, 1511 E. 11th St.

The faith-filled gathering will honor the beauty, resilience and steadfastness of single mothers.

​Open Lands Events

Loveland Open Lands and Trails will offer programs in the coming week at some of the city’s natural areas.

At 10 a.m-12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 9, there will be Nature Immersion: Sensory Engagement & Colorado Wildlife at Oxbow Natural Area, 1140 Rossum Drive.

The session will consist of a mindfulness exercise, discussion on the healing power of nature, a presentation on wildlife in the area, and a nature walk to assist with incorporating skills learned during the class.

A Natural & Human History of Cottonwood Run Guided Walk will take place at 9-11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 10, at Cottonwood Run Natural Area, 725 N. Wilson Ave.

The guided walk follows the Big Thompson River as it winds east from Wilson Avenue, through Cottonwood Run Natural Area to Centennial Park, and a naturalist will point out native plants and signs of wildlife that show the diversity of life that is present along this southwestern section of the paved recreation trail.

Stamp Out Hunger

The U.S. Postal Service will ask members of the community to donate food Saturday, May 9, during the annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive.

Hosted each year by the National Association of Letter Carriers, Stamp Out Hunger collects food at a time when the donations made during the winter holiday season are running out. The event aims to help the more than 47 million Americans, including 14 million children and nearly 7.4 million senior citizens, who are unsure where their next meal is coming from.

Since launching the annual drive in 1993, the postal carriers have collected about 1.94 billion pounds of food for community food banks nationwide. Donations go directly to local food pantries to provide food to people who need our help.

Residents can participate by donating nonperishable food items and leaving them near their mailboxes in a bag that day.

Downtown Tours

Explore the history and future of downtown Loveland with Past & Progress Community Tours on Saturday, May 9.

Hosted by the Downtown Development Authority, the two-hour guided walking tours take attendees inside some of downtown’s most iconic historic buildings, Venue 319, the Pulliam Community Building, the Elks Lodge and the Oddfellows Building, showing the renovations they have undergone, and discussing their future plans and the ongoing HIP Streets Project.

The Morning Tour starts at 9:30 a.m. at the Colorado Coffee Company and includes a choice of hot chocolate, coffee or tea and a mini cinnamon roll.

The Afternoon Tour starts with check-in at 12:15 p.m. at the Pulliam Community Building, with the tour starting at 12:30 p.m. at Backyard Tap, where a draft pour is included in ticket.

Sound Bath

A Sound Bath, Meditation & Community Circle takes place at 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at Brookstone Recreation Center, 2575 E. First St.

The Philomathean Club’s (Philo) “Together Time” social group will hold an “Up Scale, Up Cycle, Repeat, Pop-up Boutique” sale at 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at 4834 Malibu Drive.

Gently used clothing and other items will be for sale. All proceeds from this sale will go toward the purchase of items for Alternatives To Violence (ATV) “Fresh Start Baskets.”

Raptor Open House

The Rocky Mountain Raptor Program will hold its spring open house at noon-4 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at the facility at 720 E. Vine Drive.

The event will feature live educational ambassadors, educational exhibits about raptors, gift shopping and more.

The Raptor Program helps injured birds. Attendees can learn what it takes to care for the rescued raptors.

Water Works Event

Poudre Landmarks Foundation will open the historic 1883 Water Works for a free public open house at 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at 2005 N. Overland Trail.

Tour the Gothic Revival-style pump house and explore Fort Collins’ early water history.

The event is free and open to the public, though donations are welcomed.

Kids on Broadway

Centennial Children’s Chorus will present “Kids on Broadway 2026” at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at the Lincoln Center, 417 W. Magnolia.

The singers will present musical selections from “Charlotte’s Web” and “Into the Woods.”

Call for Artists

Museum of Art Fort Collins has issued a call for entries for a “Celebration of Colorado” art show.

The juried exhibition will be dedicated to the artists who make Larimer and Weld County so vibrant.

The show is open to all media (including fiber, jewelry, photography, printmaking and woodworking) except giclee reproduction. Artists ages 18 and over residing in Larimer and Weld counties are eligible.

Prizes of $50 to $500 will be awarded.

Treats for Two

Treats for Two: A Mother’s Day Chocolate Tasting will be offered at 3-4 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures, 200 W. Mountain Ave.

The guided tasting of chocolates from around the world will feature a curated selection of distinctive flavors, from bars to truffles, from peppermint and amarena cherry to pistachio and even corn, with palate cleansers between tastings, along with coffee, tea and music.

Tickets are $30 for two people and all guests will receive free admission to the museum.

Spotlight Speakers

Tickets go on sale May 1 for the Spotlight Speaker event scheduled Sept 16 at Aims Community College.

The 2026-27 series will bring thought leaders to Northern Colorado for a one-day leadership conference designed to inspire growth, connection and meaningful conversation.

Speakers are Cassandra Worthy, founder and CEO of Change Enthusiasm Global and expert on embracing change;  Susan Cain, a bestselling author and leading voice on introversion and leadership; and Dan Heath, a bestselling author and expert on making change happen.

The program takes place at 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Welcome Center Miller Auditorium on the Greeley Campus.

ESTES PARK

Hydropower Museum

The Estes Park Museum is seeking individuals interested in the history of hydropower and the Estes Park area to serve as tour guides at the Historic Fall River Hydroplant.

Built in 1909 by F.O. Stanley, the hydroplant was the source of electricity for the Stanley Hotel. In 1982, the plant was destroyed in the Lawn Lake Flood. The building was restored and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

The hydroplant is open every other Friday: June 12 and 26, July 10 and 24, Aug. 8 and 21 from noon to 4 p.m. Training will be provided by current docents and museum staff.

Responsibilities include opening and closing the Hydroplant and leading tours through the facility.

MILLIKEN

New Library

A grand opening celebration for the new Milliken Public Library will be held at 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, May 9, at the new library at 266B S. Irene Ave.

The festivities kick off with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at library scavenger hunt with prizes, coffee and frozen treats.

Admission is free.
The new library is located on the north end of the Milliken Intermediate School building.
