Loveland will start out the week with rain, turning to snow by Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service website.

The forecast says that Loveland will hit 73 degrees on Monday, though the day will be cloudy and windy wtih a 50% chance of afternoon rain, according to the website. Overnight, rain is likely, possibly mixing with snow after 5 a.m. Tuesday, though no accumulation is expected.

Tuesday, the high is expected to reach just 42 degrees and rain mixed with snow is expected throughout the day, the NWS reports.

After midnight, precipitation will change to all snow with accumulation of up to 3 inches possible, according to the website. Snow is expected to continue throughout Wednesday, which should reach 45 degrees.

The forecast calls for a return of sunshine on Thursday wtih a high of 67 degrees.
