Pilgrim’s Pride boosts top-line results in Q1 while bottom line faltered

Thanks to strong demand for chicken — often considered a more economical protein choice compared with beef and seafood — Greeley-based poultry producer Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. (Nasdaq: PPC) posted higher year-over-year sales in the first quarter of 2026, but saw its bottom line shrink.
